Linux is everywhere - maybe your smart phone uses it, maybe it is running your favourite website, chances are it is running something on the Internet. Or, of course - most of the top #500 supercomputers is running on Linux.
Linux is an operating system - freely available for everyone, everywhere. This short course should take no longer than 8 hours. You will be able to complete practical activities online via the web - without installing any software.
This activity may count towards your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Skills section. Please speak to our DofE leader before starting this course and ask your parent/guardian for permission if you are under 18.
