Welcome to East Riding Libraries.

In partnership with Cisco Netacad we offer this self taught course to develop your knowledge of cybercrime, security principles, technologies and procedures used to defend networks. 

You can access this course from a library using a PC or your own device with our free wifi; or you can access the course from any other location at a time to suit you. 

This course is recommended for students planning to study for the Cisco CCNA R&S, CCNA Cyber Ops or Cisco CCNA Security Certifications. 

Skills you'll learn:

  • Understand security controls for networks, servers and applications.
  • Learn valuable security principals and how to develop compliant policies.
  • Implement proper procedures for data confidentiality and availability.
  • Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills using real equipment and Cisco Packet Tracer.

Study at your own pace and reinforce your understanding with activities and quizzes followed by a final assessment.
