The Cyber Learn-A-Thon begins February 26, 2021 and runs through March 26, 2021.
Benefits of Intro to Cybersecurity
Teaches how to protect personal data and privacy online & in social media. Discusses why more IT jobs require cybersecurity knowledge and understanding.
15-hour self-paced intro course
Explores cyber trends, threats and staying safe in cyberspace using multiple activities and quizzes to engage participants and reinforce learning.

There is no cost to participate in the Cyber Learn-A-Thon.
Who can participate?
Students ages 14 and older are eligible to participate. No experience required! Parents are also encouraged to register and take the class with their child. Students should register with their school email in order to be eligible for the prize.
Incentives to participate
Meet local cyber experts and instructors in an online panel discussion that will take place during the second week of the Learn-a-thon. More information will be provided.
Students who participate in the Cyber Learn-A-Thon and pass the Intro to Cybersecurity course exam with a 70% or above on the first attempt will be awarded a Cisco Intro to Cybersecurity digital badge.
Students who complete the course with a 70% or better will be entered into a raffle to win Hacker, a cybersecurity logic game. Students must register using their school email address to be eligible to win the prize. Parents are not eligible for prizes.
