Academy Orientation

Welcome to the Academy Orientation 8.0 course. This course is designed to introduce the Cisco Networking Academy, its processes and procedures. These course materials will assist you in developing the skills necessary to do the following:

• Explain what the Cisco Networking Academy does, the curricula, the materials, and services offered
• Explain how to become a Networking Academy Instructor
• Navigate the I’m Teaching, the I’m Managing, and the I’m Learning tabs
• End a course and provide badges, certificates of completion, letters of merit, and certification exam discounts
• Use the resources provided to you through the Networking Academy

Academy Orientation 8.0 contains 6 modules of content and quizzes at the end of each module to self-assess the learner's understanding of the content. There is also an end of course survey at the conclusion of the course.
