Use on at least 498 out of the top 500 supercomputers. You will find Linux in smartphones (Android) - on many web servers and probably running your smart TV. Many programmers and cybersecurity experts develop Linux skills to enhance their employment prospects and professional/technical profile.
This short course (8hrs), is designed to get you started and develop confidence in this technical computer operating system. Taking this course, you will:
- Learn how Linux is everywhere,
- Upgrade your experience (also for free) by enrolling for the professional certification oriented LPI (Linux Professional Institute) Linux Essentials course (70hrs study) from within the course
- Learn the basics of the Linux Command Line Interface (CLI) using a web browser based virtual machine that requires no installation - applying Linux practical experience through the completion of step-by-step with hands-on lab activities.
